Rosemary was born on either the 4th or 5th of October in 1935. She was Jessie and Victor's daughter. She was born into poverty for the first few years of her life. She was allowed to run wild in the hills of Harrismith when she and family lived there. These were her happiest childhood memories. I think that Jessie and Victor often dumped the kids on various relatives. She loved to spontaneously go on trips whenever she could.
Victor and Jessie died when Rosemary and Max were very young. Bertha and Jack took them in and she lived with them until she married George Pope.
Rosemary was extremely intelligent and felt that she never achieved what she should have.
I think she was just a little disappointed in life. She was a hypochondriac with numerous ailments forever afflicting her. She was forever trying new pseudo-medical cures. She loved to read and do cross word puzzles.
She was married twice. George and her really did not get on well. Neither of them held the other in high regard. Even though George adored her, he was unable to be faithful and had a drinking problem. She swapped him out for James. The great love of her life was a man named Jim. She did nothing about it and this was her major regret in her life.
She was a good mother while she was present. She loved her granddaughter Melissa. She had two daughters' named Jeneatta and Kathy. They in turn had 5 children. Her genetics have been sent down to the next generation. As to whether any of this generation will create the next generation we will have to wait and see.
