Crone boy - Vernon Wilfred

Vernon was the youngest son of Frederiech and Mary. He was born on the 18th June 1908. He was only 5 when his father died. He married the most lovely lady named Norma. They had 4 lovely children. Vernon by nature should have been a photographer. He was instead a factory manager. He took Rosemary and George's wedding 8mm movie in 1956.

I think he went to WW2 as his first child was born in about 1937 and then the second in 1949. He died when he was only 57. Peter was an adult, but all of the others were still children. Aunty Norma would another 45 years and never re-marry. She was asked, but, unfortunately her children did not want this to happen. She flew around the world into her 80's at which time the airlines asked her please to stay at home.

His children all turned out to be extremely bright as well as artistic. Although I do think that Norma was the reason, Vernon did provide half their genetics. Norma spent 15 years living in a flat until she moved into a cottage in her son Peter's house. Her parents had spent a huge amount of time in the east. She had the most amazing collection of artifacts.

I only have the group picture of Vernon, but, I will add some Norma et al. pictures.

All his children as Kids. We all went here for Christmas until about 1975.  in order of appearance.
